Before we dive in, where did your energy land this week on a scale from 1 to 10? → Hit reply if you want to take a second and share it. That simple awareness matters. Let’s get into it: ⚡ QUICK SPIN:You don’t need a breakthrough. You need a breadcrumb. We chronically undervalue the energy that comes from momentum. Not the “big win” kind. The I-did-something-that-matters kind. Tiny wins are not fluff. They are neural fuel. Every time you finish something meaningful, your brain gets a dopamine hit—and energy, clarity, and self-trust rise. But most leaders I work with? They blow right past it. Because the bar is always moving. If you want to build energy that lasts, you have to stop chasing massive progress and start building from measurable traction. 🛠️ MY TURN:In my own career, both corporate and entrepreneurial, I didn’t crash from overwork. I burned out from constantly minimizing my own progress. It wasn’t that I wasn’t doing enough. It was that my system only valued finishing big things. And when you lead a team, or grow a company, the big things never finish. It wasn’t until I installed my own "EnergyOS" that I re-trained my nervous system to celebrate forward motion, not just finality. It was a 10x shift. 📚 THE BACKUP:The power of small wins isn’t just feel-good fluff — it’s one of the most grounded, research-backed momentum levers available to high-performers. Here’s the data: 🔹 McKinsey & Co.: Top-performing executive teams build momentum by stacking visible signals of progress. Those who do this consistently outperform their peers in speed, cohesion, and clarity. Then from my own book, Make Your Own Glass Half Full: The Path To Empowered Optimism and Autonomy: "Small wins build up over time and allow you to refer back to them, building a positive outlook.” So start capturing your small wins! 🛠️ THE SYSTEM:Want to feel better, lead better, and last longer? Start by making this part of your weekly operating rhythm:
Bonus: Add a recurring calendar event called “Friday Wins Log 🌟”— and protect it like a client call. 🤗 YOUR TURN:What’s one small win you can capture right now before closing this email? Write it down. Your brain will thank you. 👊 LET'S TALK:Do you track your wins? What’s one you’re proud of this week?
